Well, its official … Google has completed a SERPs update. While many are reporting major PageRank reductions, but I bet that there are some other happy people in the blogosphere whose blogs experience a “PageRank increase“.
We are celebrating because one of our case study sites that is only 6 weeks old increased from no ranking to a PageRank 5. It is a plain site as we have not put much effort into making it pretty. Our focus has only been on optimized keyword content, directory submissions, and social bookmarking. All of this has been a case study for some of our theories in blog SEO, traffic development and effects on PageRank increases. Looks like our ideas and experimentation work well.
I also had 2 sites and 2 blogs stay the same, but one blog was pagerank 0 and increased to PageRank 2. If you experienced a decrease in pagerank, focus on optimizing your blog’s content as we suggest. What’s next? A lot of our methods will be shared via SuperiorBlogs and some of the more intricate methods for traffic development and pagerank increases will be put into our future ebook.
