Democracy Poll Plugin
I installed and tested this WordPress Plugin on this blog and another of my personal blogs. I did run into a small problem with Democracy CSS styles changing the SuperiorBlogs theme. It still worked, just changed some content in the sidebars to bold and although I followed instructions for changing the list style, it did not change. It did however work fine on my personal blog.
Documentation is available, but only if you install the directory Democracy 2.0.1 which contains the sidebar widget and the Readme.html file. I believe Andrew needs to revisit the directory structure for download purposes and to make things easier for bloggers.
Support is limited to responses to comments left on the Plugin’s page, but the answers from the Author are not displayed.
The plugin can be used in the sidebars and in Posts/Pages with the insertion of simple commands. The Admin interface is excellent. The final display looks good as shown here. Click here to visit Democracy AJAX Poll.
WP-Polls Plugin

I installed this plugin on both of the same blogs and will continue its use for all of my blogs. It scored well on everything. It is easy to use and the Admin interface is excellent. It also adds an add poll button to the wysiwyg editor.
One of the best things about Lester’s Plugins is his outstanding documentation which covers everything and he also has a Support Forum for all of his plugins. Click here to visit WP-Polls.
I favor WP-Polls not only for its great support and documentation, but the available options for this WordPress Polls plugin gives you far more control over the final look of your displayed poll including colors and template control.

How did you get the WP Poll to work with WordPress 2.5?
